We welcome the opportunity to create something personal, whether it is a traditional Nantucket Lightship Basket, a cuff, or a meaningful gift. Each commission is woven individually and designed in collaboration with you.

PROCESS & PRICING

Commission pricing reflects the base cost of the piece and includes standard materials and construction. Final pricing may vary depending on wood selection, engraved or scrimshaw details, monograms, or other custom elements.

A 20% deposit is required to reserve your place in our weaving schedule and to secure materials. Once your commission is confirmed, design details can be finalized through email or a scheduled call.

The remaining balance is due upon completion prior to delivery or shipment. Estimated timelines will be provided at the time of booking, as each piece is woven one at a time.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION

Our baskets are made using traditional Nantucket Lightship Basket techniques, with solid wooden bases and rims and tightly handwoven cane. Cuff styles are woven around a flexible brass form and may be gently adjusted for fit.

Monograms, engraving, and scrimshaw work are completed in collaboration with skilled vendors who specialize in this craft.

Each finished piece is sealed to help protect the surface and preserve the materials. To maintain its integrity over time, we recommend keeping your basket or cuff dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
